Congo Trail Tours

Costa Rica is known as one of the best and closest foreign adventure tourism destinations to the United States and Canada. The surfing, zip lines and nature hiking particularly in the Guanacaste Province, is known to be first class.  This region of Costa Rica is famous for reliably sunny weather, awesome beaches and plenty of wildlife-watching opportunities.
By renting a car you might visit some protected areas to enjoy canopy tours, wildlife –viewing, and hiking by spending a few days around the Rincon de la Vieja National Park, Palo Verde National Park. The volcano hiking and Caribbean scuba diving are not far behind where you can sample Costa Rica's blood-pumping options, as well as: rafting near Turrialba on some of the most scenic whitewater an amateur can access — and some of the most challenging
This Canopy Tour is located very close to the beaches of OCOTAL, EL COCO, HERMOSA, PANAMA, CONCHAL, BRASILITO, FLAMINGO, POTRERO. From Flamingo, Brasilito or Tamarindo you took the way to Potrero through the costal unpaved road for 13 km until you get to the town Nuevo Colón and if you are coming from Coco Beach you can turn off onto a paved road, first exit before the village of Sardinal and then follow took the big canopy sign and drive for about 9 km until you get to the village Nuevo Colón, past the village, make a left turn towards Potrero Beach.
At the canopy you will have a souvenir (drinks and gifts), picture service, restrooms and a wildlife park.
Here you can find different kind of t-shirts, handy craft, paints and Costa Rican music or information, and also a great variety of our excellent quality of coffee and tobaccos.
Here you can have your picture taken during the tour and it is this offered in two different sizes, which are the 5x7 and the 6x8, both pictures come in a folder made of banana paper.
The canopy cost $35 per person and if transportation needed, it goes from $10 to $15 per person more and it will depend on where you are staying at. Let's talk and we can make a better deal or give you a group discount.
The fee entrance is $15 per person and if you had taken the canopy is just $5 more. This is a new attraction where you can find a serpentarium with more than 25 different species, a butterfly garden where you can see a few different species (morpho and cáligu) and more than 20 species of orkids. Also you can see birds, reptiles and a couple species of monkeys.
Once you arrive at the site, the tour guides will get you ready for the ride of your life by providing you with safety briefing on zip lining. After a short hike we will come to the first platform where you will get you equipment an when you already listen the instructions from the guides, we are ready to fly down the eleven suspended cables. You fly at about 300 miles per hour from one tree platform to the next. During the tour we will cross three hanging bridges between two platforms; also we will make a short hike passing through the dry forest.  This is a truly exhilarating and exciting experience. If we are lucky, even the Howler Monkeys will be our company during part of the Canopy Tour.
Come and get your adrenalin pumping and enjoy the beauty of the Costa Rican dry forests and wildlife.
Don’t forget your camera
