With a delicate environment characterized by Earth tones details, lots of nature around and privacy, we have 20 Junior Suites spread in two floor buildings with garden front terraces. The design of this kind of room offers a bedroom with 2 queen size beds and a bathroom, plus a separate living room with mini bar.
In a separate two floor building, right in front of the beach, we have the new Ocean front Suites doubling the size of the first ones and including a bedroom with 2 queen size beds, a beach front Jacuzzi, a comfortable living room with mini bar and a sofa bed, plus a spacious bathroom. Right in the same building there are the Garden View Suites, with the space and elegance of our Ocean Front Suites, the 2 queen size beds and the sofa bed. All our rooms are within one minute walk from the beach, so it means they are also natural equipped with 24/7 waves soothing sounds.
The beach and surf view from the new Niromi Restaurant (“forest” in Chorotega native language), its great selection of dishes mixing international gourmet style with Costa Rican flavors, and the top service of our staff are the perfect backgrounds to complete a dreamy vacation by the sea. On its second floor we have developed the Nya Lounge bar (tree), a modern but cozy area also beach front that will mix a Hors d'oeuvre menu, the best tropical drinks and music. Discover the natural wonders of Guanacaste from the central location of Hotel Playa Hermosa Bosque del Mar. Within 2 hour-drive, enjoy many excursion options such as Palo Verde, Rincón de la Vieja or Santa Rosa, just to mention some of the National Parks around in this area. Hike up to the summit of Rincon de la Vieja for a bird's-eye view of the crater. Afterward, reawaken your senses at the hot springs, located in this area.
Or if you prefer aquatic activities, we recommend a floating trip down the Corobici River, as well as nearby beaches for the best spot for surfing, sport fishing, diving and snorkeling.
How to get to this hotel:
ROUTE #1: GUARDIA – PLAYA HERMOSA (Highly Recommended!) coming from Liberia Intl. Airport or the City of Liberia. By renting a car, it would give you the freedom to find this secluded tropical hideaway.
•Once you passed the Liberia Intl. Airport, keep going 5 miles straight southwest on Route 21. You will cross the Tempisque River Bridge and soon you will find an intersection in Guardia town, with a shopping center called Do It Center (in a corner). Turn right there
•Take the way to Papagayo and half a mile later turn to your left on Route 254 and drive 5 miles (look out for a sign towards Playa Panama)
•The third intersection is the one connecting to Playa Panamá, turn left and drive 3.5 miles more to get to the resort village of Playa Hermosa
•Once you are there, look for the second public entrance to the beach at your right. We have a sign here in an empty corner lot next to a hardware store (Ferretería Playa Hermosa) and turn right as the arrow indicates
•Keep going straight half a mile and you will find us at the end of the road
